Ok here's wad happened...
Roz n i were at parkway n while waiting for the bus, we went to the 7-eleven store...
"Its a store and MORE!" haha ok i noe, random...
Ya so... as i was queueing to pay up i turned my head towards the entrance of the store, and i saw this pretty looking woman (ok im not les, i noticed her cos she was pretty, like out of the ordinary pretty) and she was dressed in like sporty attire?
Ya then while still looking in her direction, as soon as she moved, behind her was UTT!!!
And, im seriously not lying... but our eyes TOTALLY met! OMG OMG OMG!
But of cos, to not look like i recognized him, i turned back to the cashier n made my payment... Roz was like at the magazine section n i was waiting for her to turn her head so i can signal to her tt UTT was right behind!

It was only when we exited the shop did i manage to tell Roz tt UTT was the one in pink in 7-eleven... and she of cos oso taked a look at him secretly... haha!

OK... He's good looking... a little shorter than i imagined, and his walking is hmm not wad i expected... haha! BUT he's still good looking! haha

I was telling Roz that in Spore, i noticed that even when we see ppl like UTT or other stars... even though we realli wan to go up to them n take a pic or ask for an autograph, we dun do it...

Why? cos i tink we as sporeans like to play it cool and act like we dunno or have no interest in them... thinking "So what? spore star only wad..."
And oso cos i tink we dun like the feeling of making others feel good or recognized abt being a star...
I cant say this abt those pro fans of certain stars like fann wong or whoever la... but i tink majority of us are like me... LOL!

I seriously cant imagine hw i'll react if i actualli do see any of those stars i idolise... ESPECIALLY DBSK!!! haha...

My Aunt, Cik Ita, had a heart attact.

It was a few weeks ago wen it first happened.

She was hospitalized but then released after check-ups determined that her only option was to do a by-pass surgery for 5 of the blocked/narrow passages that led to her heart.

The operation was set to be on the 14th of Apr.

However i only knew that the date had been brought forward a day before the actual operation which was this morning.

Operations all involve risks and of cos not needing a operation is the ideal situation but unfortunately, my aunt has no choice.

Truthfully i was relieved that the operation was brought forward.

This morning, i went down to the hospital in the hopes of taking a look at my aunt before the operation, however i only got to catch a glimpse of her from afar.

The operation theatre's door stood between me n my aunt and at tt moment i just felt realli sad n the urge to cry was so strong.

The operation was set to last abt 5 hrs so my dad sent my grandma n my aunt home first and we went on to do our own stuff.

While at home, at abt 2pm, i received a call informing me tt the operation was cancelled due to complications.
At that moment, all hopes of having this dreadful event move on, were dashed.

It was only after my dad ended work at 9pm, tt he came hm to fetch my bro n i down to the hospital to visit my aunt in the ICU ward.

Before gg up to the ward, my grandma and other relatives were explaining to us what actually happened.
Apparently, when my aunt was in the operation theatre, apart from the nerves that were getting the best of her, she couldnt breathe properly when she lay down flat.

Doctors had to stop the operation from proceeding as they realized tt she was having another heart attack right there and then in the operation theatre before the operation could even take place.

The doctors said that this heart attack was even more serious than the 1st and fortunately she was in full attention of the docs or else something tt i do not even wan to think of might have happened. If she wasnt in the hospital, and was at home, and this happened... i realli dunno wad to think...

My uncle said that rite nw... the docs are waiting for my aunts condition to stabilise n then they would have to have the operation as soon as possible.

My steps towards my aunts ward was so heavy and it was the first time i was actually entering the ICU.

There i saw her... lying there with all these machines and gadgets that i dun even noe what purpose they serve around her.
And wen i walked over to kiss her hand, i slowly noticed that there were so many things inserted into her arm and even her neck...
She looked so weak and tired and wen i asked her if she was tired, she replied that the tube connected to her neck was making her chest hurt.

It hurt me to see her in that state...
It hurt even more that i couldnt do anything for her.
Everytime i visit her at the hospital, i feel so useless.

Like standing there... all these tots running thru my mind
"Should i comfort her?"
or
"Should i talk to her as per normal"
Should i, should i, should i...
But i never got to saying anything...
Instead tonight, i just stood there staring at her... looking at how this lady who treated me like a princess and took care of me so well wen i was younger, looked so small and weak...

It seemed that the roles had been reversed and i should be taking care of her now...
But wad can i actually do for her?

OK~ A little update bout myself...

IM FINISHING SCHOOL IN 2 WEEKS!
WAHA!~

I'm SO happy but yet so scared at the same time...
I dread the moment when i cant get a job and stay unemployed for like so long...
I really hope i can find one easily...
BUT regarding that i only plan to like OFFICIALLY start work like ard the end of May cos u noe... wanna relax n all... plus all the trips ahead... n my 21st which i hope to have... so about the end of may would be a good time to start.

Therefore until then, i hope to go for interviews to secure a job which i can start in may... *HOPE*~!

Yeah n apart from that... since i'll be wrapping up school in like 2 weeks... ending right before chinese new year... i wanna look for a part time job just to kill time n also earn some extra cash for the trips im going...

Trip no.1 : Japan study trip (end march)
Yea the LAST trip with TP~ It's kinda confirmed already la... like im going... but we have a special plan, that better not be mentioned here, so that ppl who should not noe wun noe... but to go through wit tt plan, i NEED MONEY!

Trip no. 2 : Family trip (somewhere in apr)
As most of u noe... the reason i get to go on trips every year with my family is cos my dad works at SIA so we get free tix for the family once a year.
However, one condition is that me, the child of my dad stops getting free tix wen i turn 21 so we have to use this free tix b4 i turn 21 in may... well that's wad we tink la... but HOPEFULLY we can use it as long as its within the year i turn 21 so we dun have to rush gg on the trip b4 may... which brings me to the NEXT trip...

Trip no. 3: Penang, Malaysia (7th apr)
In the event that we can actualli postpone my family trip to After my BD... then i'm planning to go with the usual kaki's to Malaysia...
ALSO NEED MONEY AH~~ haha

Trip no. 4 : Bangkok, Thailand (towards the end of year)
Ok... we have been meaning to go there since Phit is there n all.. but with all the trips b4 this... we keep pushing it back... hmm plan is to go in sept la... but might be nearer to the end of the year instead oso... this is not confirmed yet but plans are underway.
By this time, i would have already started working OFFICIALLY so money i dun tink will be an issue UNLESS im still unemployed~~ AHHH NO NO! CHOI! haha *touch wood*

OK... i tink i have many more things to sae but i cant think nw cos my brain is falling asleep. i'll post when i rem haha...
Still have some irritating sch assignments to rush n complete so have to chiong for the final 2 weeks n then SAYONARA!~!~

Yay! I coloured my hair on Thursday, 10th Dec... FINALLY!

I asked for a brown-coloured base with red highlights but cos i had blonde highlights from LONG ago~ the red turned a little pinkish... like HOT pink!

Haha~ im sooo pleased with this time's colouring!

BUT the downside is tt it'll start to drop and fade... *sad*

Oh well, a funky colour to end the poly life... haha!

I'm sick! I had to go see the doc ytd, Friday. My dad saes its better to see now, than wait till go over to Europe and have to search for one... It'll cost more too...

Hey Everyone im B A C K!~

OK~ i know i haven updated in a uber long time~

Well cos i was lazy... haha!~

There was just too many things to update~

So now i'll just give a rough update~

1. My attachment at CAAS is over!~ Miss all e makcik's! But i did go back to the airport to meet them a few daes ago!

2. School term is starting soon!! BORING!!!

3. I enjoyed 2 weeks of e JSXP event that seemed to just fly past.

4. Well as you can see... My blog has just had a facelift! Woohoo!

Yes, and this time i decided to put my idols up~

Hmm i noe some of you might be saying,

"AH~WADEVER!" or "OBSESSION!"

n my response will be "YES! i admit im obsessed with them but not without reason!"

For those of you who dunno... there is some problem going on regarding DBSK and their agency.

There has been talk about them breaking up, and maybe for some of u, u might sae, "GREAT!" but for me, as a fan who has been supporting them for like 4 yrs... it is something tt we do not wish to see happen.

DBSK has said before that no matter wad happens with the lawsuit, they will not break up! N i sae "i believe them!' So my blog will now represent my belief in them and to.......

ALWAYS KEEP THE FAITH!

OK apart from DBSK, i recently saw this performance by 2 korean singers, Park Hyo Shin & Tei and they sang Beyonce's Listen!

OMG! i was so amazed at their vocal skills! I love the unique voice of the guy in orange hair (Park Hyo Shin).

Oh and before you actualli start condemning these artists cos of e way they pronounce the eng words, just take a look at how some Singaporeans, who have been learning eng their whole life, still suck at it... great example... RIS LOW! BOOMZ! Haha!

Well, Batam trip was basically just a getaway for me.

We didn't have much to do but eat, Eat & EAT!

But even if we had nothing much to do, it was still hella lot of fun!

Having my family with me, n of cos Neeza n Rozana was all i needed!

Shopped abit in the shopping centre.

Had alot of snacks here n there...

N still had a sumptous Seafood Dinner!

OMG! i tried Gong2 for the first time!

IT WAS GOOD~~

Lobster, Crab, Huge fish and many more!

Ahh~~ missing it now~

It was no wonder our bill came to abt S$200 plus.

1.4 mil Rupiah!!!

A&W! Long time no see~ but Rozana said she tried the food b4 n it wasnt good so we just settled for root beer float only~

OMG! I just love how we all took pics with the "peace" sign!

I love my grandma for being so sporting!

Close to 2 mths after my BD, i FINALLY got the pair of headphones i wanted!

It arrived at my doorstep on Mon, 20th July.

Ok... i actually have Taijin to thank for helping me make the order online even though she had her exams to worry abt... so,

& WELCOME HOME!

My dad sae's e sound quality of the headphones not bad but the high frequency quite un-steady.

For me, it was a teeny-weeny bit disappointing tt it was smaller than wad it looked from the computer.

BUT ITS STILL COOL! N the sound is good for me too!

Haven had a chance to wear it out yet though cos i haven listened to my mp3 since my dad fetches me to n from work... so yeah... hope it looks ok on me... HAHA!

I have stuff to update about but everytime i wanna use the com, i become so tired and lazy... just feel like gg to slp... haha so i'll update another time...

Friday, went to school instead to start on our project.

Unfortunately, our com wasnt programmed so we couldn't even use the com.

Wasted the whole dae waiting for the person-in-charge to come, but he was a no-show.

Following tt evening, went to Simpang Bedok with Shi hui n Meixuan.

We were later joined by Ash, Peisheng n Ziqin.

Had dinner, slacked n chilled, laughed, n toked bout MJ.

Kelly came after tt too, but i had to leave soon after.

CAAS's Appreciation Dinner

and it was held at Suntec Convention Centre.

The dinner and program was rather good.

Just tt the food was a little too cold n un-appetizing.

It started at bout 7pm & ended at bout 10 plus.

I was like wondering y the security guards suddenly stopped the traffic, and then saw a whole grp of ppl in black (bodyguards) walking out.

I was surprised but also not so surprised la... haha?

Omg!~ Having an office job realli can make one go crazy u noe...

N im not even into full-time working yet.

I dun think i'll be able to withstand all of it in the future.

This is not wad i was looking for when i was growing up.

I had dreams n aspirations to do bigger n greater things!

BUT, i guess it is all JUST a dream...

Laptop gone MAD!~

My Laptop has gone M-A-D!

MAD! MAD! MAD!

Ok~ from wad it seems, i think the problem lies mainly with the screen of my laptop n not so much with the system itself.

Wad happened was, when i turned my com on, it started as per normal, only thing, this black patchy image formed, with wad seemed like a slow response n start up to produce the screen.

I actualli video-ed dwn my laptop screen, as sort of a "proof" when i go to service my laptop n the problem just magically isnt there anymore.

Anyways, after much observation on my laptop just nw, n trying to see through the whitish screen, the screen suddenly came back!!! i was like soooooo HAPPY!!!

The thing is im ok with paying for wadever service fee tt comes my way, n if it is too ex, i can probably just get another laptop.

BUT!!!

The thing tt is most important to me are the valuables IN my laptop!

I didnt back my files up, so if anything were to happen to my laptop, EVERYTHING would be at a risk of loss! I can't even stand the tot of it!

I was seriously so depressed when i tot i couldnt retrieve my valuables.

But when the screen came on, i was like so ecstatic, so was my bro. Cos he was helping me...

I quickly stuck my external hardrive in the USB port n started copying files over.

Yes, IT IS still in the midst of copying!

ALOT sia~ about 100 plus GB of data in my com.

Anyway i've gt to call ACER tmr n tell them abt my problem n consult on wad to do...

Most prob have to send for repair.

Wad bad timing!

All this happening in e midst of a VERY BUSY weekend.

N tmr, family members are already getting busy n stuff.

Ahh... hope i can get through this~

Yay! My dear Xiah is Back in Action!

He can smile again!!

He must be glad he can continue performing in the Concerts, especially when their dream concert at Tokyo Dome is coming up!

But i tink his leg still needs to be taken care of!

BUT! He's back in action now! N he gave a great dance performance!

Wonderful dance moves! Considering the fact tt his feet have just healed!

He did a kick ass job! Way to go Xiah!

Today started with me getting my mood spoiled due to some other matter. It was so bad, that i seriously even reconsidered even gg out to celebrate.

Well anyways, Neeza came over my hse at bout 4 plus and passed me the present she, her sis n mum had shared to give me. YAY! They got me e Charles & Keith Bag i wanted!!! Hehe... Neeza... sorry have to use the same as u ah....

Shortly after tt, we left my hse to go over to my granny’s where i was given 2 green packets for my bd. One from my granny n one from my aunt! Thankies!!!

So we set off for the airport~
However... we were so early, we actually reached at bout 5.30pm.
The meeting time was at 6.30pm.
Yea so Neeza n i just went to sit somewhere, chat n chill.

6.30pm came, Cherie n Sheena came to “fetch” us to Fish n Co. N i was surprised to see tt we were to be seated in sort of a private rm in Fish n Co. Thanks to Cherie for arranging it!

Shi Hui, Esther, Min Zhui, Vincent n Yong Han were already there.
I thought tt apart from those who were already present, only Meixuan n Anterine were gg to join us. But i was Surprised when i saw Kelly, Ashley n Peisheng walking in as well. It has been a long time since we had such a gathering. So glad to have so many ppl there.

Dinner was fabulous! Its always great when u have great company as well!

After eating, Neeza told me she wanted me to accompany her to e toilet, but i think it was just an excuse to get me out of the room.
N true enuf, when i gt back, the lights in the room were turned off, n there was a cake!

Hehe~ they sang Happy Birthday for me pretty loudly! I could sense tt everyone outside was looking in.

If u look closely at this pic below, notice Neeza pointing to her cheek, n Sheena sitting across her, looking at her? SO guess wad happens next?

Yea! I got creamed by SHEENA! Yea n i had make-up on! Lucky only abit!

After eating the cake n paying up, i tot it was over, but apparently, the very “nice” Kelly, told the Fish n Co. ppl tt there was a birthday girl there, so they did their Fish n co BD cheer n i had to stand on top of the chairs while they did it! So paiseh la!!!! So many ppl watching sia...

So with Credits to Neeza for taking a video of the whole thing, here's the clip!

But i gt ice cream after tt so ok la...

After FINALLY leaving Fish n Co, we went to T1 viewing gallery to slack n chiil.

Unfortunately, due to a SUPER LAME curfew, i had to leave after 15 mins of sitting down.

Reached home at 12am... AFTER the curfew! wadever rite Neeza? Its time to REBEL! haha!!!!

Anyway once again thanks all for making e nite special! n Thanks for the present FULL of sweets n the lovely Message.

New Group! 2NE1~

Hey im back!~

N with news to share of a new
group tt really caught my eye.

They go by the name of

2NE1

Yes, if ur fast, it means 21.

I dunno y they named themselves tt cos none of them are actually 21 yrs old.

They are a 4 member hip hop girl group who have just debuted in Korea.

N get this, 2 of them are 15 and 18 yrs of age, while the other 2 are both aged 24.

Their debut song "FIRE" is realli catchy.

Yea~ tt will be the only reason i will actually recommend a group.

I've yet to hear them sing live on TV, so i cant realli sae if they're ALL THAT good.

Well, i'll just have to wait n see then.

I slept in until abt 1plus in e afternoon todae n woke up to find that i had like 10 unread messages on my fone!

Well, a few weeks have passed since attachment started, n its been the same almost every week. More people have moved in to our office space n its soo crammed. Starting to miss the times when it was just the few of us with the Ciks n Kaks. It was AT LEAST more bearable last time. Well, starting to see e true colours of my SIP partner, n if she is at least sensible, she would noe tt i've been giving her e cold shoulder lately... oh well wadever~

AHHH main concern is Major Project!

Oh no... My Xiah Junsu is injured!!!

He hurt his leg during rehearsal for

their Japan concert!!

But even in his condition,

which he can hardly stand,

He still went on to perform on stage,

even when he had to be confined in his wheelchair.

Now this is what i call great showmanship!

So to all those anti-idol band ppl, who sometimes

make fun of me over my obsession with DBSK,

this is e reason why i love these grp of guys!

Hmm... i hope he gets well soon...

He must feel super sad tt he cant perform

with the other members on their 1st day

of concert in Japan...

MP/SIP Attachment!!!!! CAAS~ & After Cambodia OCP gathering pics~

Well as most of you noe, im in my 3rd year of poly.

So it means the start of attachment for the 1st Semester.

I've been attached to Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS),

at Changi Airport T2.

Hmm, when i told ppl i was attached to CAAS from 20th april to 28 aug with a monthly pay of $440.

Most told me i was lucky and it was good tt i gt an attachment tt actually pays with e current economic situation...

However after my 1st week of attachment, this is wad i have done.

Assisted the company in disposing of past company data.

Sounds big? in simple words, its shredding paper...

"Great" job rite?

Yes! we have been shredding paper for e past 5 days!!!

Yes, of cos there were other things tt we did in between, but so far, all e tasks, have in no way, any relation to my course at all...

A problem? yes! cos for our major project, we are supposed to come up with our own project that can relate to wad we have been doing while on attachment?

So am i supposed to come up with a project on how to shred paper more effectively?

Hmm...

Some of u might tell me, that things might get better, cos it HAS been only e first week of attachment. So i tot... "yea... maybe it will get better"...

BUT right after tt tot, our supervisor told us tt our task for e next 2 mths would be to pack 60,000 files in 5000 cartons, then label and seal e cartons.

THAT is the so called "project" that our supervisor THINKS will be sufficient to submit as our major project. Can someone please tell me, after all this, that things will be alright?

I feel that the problem lies in e lack of communication between our sch supervisor n our work supervisor. Cos from the way things are gg in office, hearing the explanation of our "project" from our supervisor, she doesn't seem to fully understand the importance n relativity of our attachment AND our project.

I would realli like to explain to e supervisor on my own, but as i have to know my own place in e office, i cant do tt... so i can only look to talking to my sch supervisor n have him talk to my work supervisor about the situation.

Hmm... yes tt can be the only way...

Most of u might not know or think lowly of e importance of the major project, but to me, this is e deciding factor if i want to pass my MP/SIP.

AND i can safely sae tt with the way things are gg right now, my project is in jeopardy!!! HELP!

Please let me know if u have any views on this...

This post seems super serious compared to my previous post bout Cambodia.

N i am being very serious about this, and to add on,

im having mixed feelings right now.

Firstly, totally demoralized due to e current situation.

Truthfully, im scared of wad is to come...

N oso... e fact tt the other 6 fdm students who were also attached to CAAS, have been attached to departments, or have been assigned tasks tt actually relate to our course, and can apply our past knowledge of our subjects, into our daily work.

I feel like a coo-lie, someone who uses hands n strength, and not making use of our mind...

Oh well, im totally shagged from worrying n thinking too much about this... plus have been carrying boxes/cartons around as well...

I think i do e changkol work in cambodia oso nt as tiring lor...

1st April

Woke up at bout 5am, got ready,

n left for e airport.

Had breakfast at MACS with

parents n Meixuan.

Met up with the rest and soon

went through immigrations

and boarded the plane tt was set

to leave at 8am.

Oh n Cherie came to see us off too! SO SWEET~!

Shi Hui, Meixuan n i felt sad as we were saying goodbye to our parents at the airport, n tears even started to swell in our eyes.

2 hrs later, we arrived in Phnom penh,

Cambodia, time, 8:55am (Cambodian time).

Took a picture at the airport,

Loaded all our stuff up the bus,

and began our journey...

Saw some interesting stuff

on the road... hee~

Before we went to have our lunch, we visited Toul Sleng Genocide Museum. If u know the recent case, of the man who was behind the killing fields incident, you'll noe wad e museum showcases. We all felt creeped out walking around, with hairs on our arms even standing. It was disturbing seeing the images of people who were tortured and even dead.

Oh yea... there was a rule to not laugh while in e museum compound.

After leaving the disturbing museum, we headed to a restaurant for lunch.

Unfortunately, for the muslim ppl, we had to go to a different place to eat.

Mamak's corner serves Malaysian style food.

Well, the 5 of us did have a personal car ride ard so it was ok... =D

After lunch, it was a super long bus ride of about 3 hrs towards the orphanage.

We finally arrived in

Hope Village, Prey Veng!

As soon as we gt there, it was time for my role as one of the food & welfare ICs to go to the local market n look for some supplies.

OMG! wad a sight it was!

Fish n meat that was being sold at the market were placed on the soiled ground,

Kian Hao even mentioned tt he saw e lady who was selling the meat, place her feet on top of the meat.

On top of tt, there were flies EVERYWHERE!!!

ALL around the food!

I was glad i didnt have to eat any of tt.

Haha, n the guys who saw tt only had the stomach to eat rice for dinner tt nite.

N by dinner time, all e mosquitoes came out to "play".

To tell u the truth, tt nite, the impact of e mosquitoes was so HUGE tt it actualli made me want to cry and go back to spore, cos well i wasn't realli expecting it to be tt bad!

My mood realli went DOWN tt nite, but well had to get thorugh it.

After tt, we went to slp! this is our bunk bed.

Im sleeping in e lower bunk under MX.

1st day in Cambodia over~

2nd April

Next Morning, woke up at 6am, washed up, n went for morning PT at 6.30 am.

Jogged along the market, well mostly walked! Hee~

Then back to e orphanage for Breakfast!

The most important meal of the day!

N YES! 5 of us shared it.

It was a really warm experience actually.

After breakfast, we basically started work.

First task, cut down a tree, dont worry it was a small one,

Anyways, i can sae tt i was realli focused on the project itself so i dun have any pics taken during work time.

3rd April

As usual, e morning routine of exercise!

Oh n if u dunno, we of cos had to do our own washing, so during lunch break, we went to wash clothes.. haha!

4th April

Basically, everyday was almost the same.

Wake up, PT, breakfast, work, lunch, work, dinner, bath, debrief, sleep.

Therefore the daes just passed like this~

Oh ya... ALOT of ppl gt sick on Sat, 4th April 09.

5th April

Since it was a Sunday, we only had to work half-day.

N fortunately it gave the people who were sick, time to rest.

After work ended at 12pm, we had activities planned for e dae.

A table-tennis match between TP representatives n Hope Village (HV) kids.

An Origami-making session with the kids.

N then a soccer match with TP against HV.

After Origami, some of us went down to e soccer field in a lorry to support the TP soccer team! =D

6th April

For PT tt morning, it was more relaxed cos it was time we practiced our dance performance for the upcoming culture nite. =D

We had time to take pics! N it was a good day cos most of the ppl who got sick, were getting better! =D

7th april - Final working dae ='(

Oh no, it was e last dae n we still had ALOT to accomplish!

This is us working as a team to go faster!

The end of the day drew near and much to our displeasure, we could not complete the walkway project.

It was a dissapointment.

However, there was talk of staying there for one more dae to try n complete the project.

And as much as i wanted to complete the project, i didnt vote to stay another dae.

The reason? Too long to disclose, so i'll just leave it as tt.

Haha no, it wasnt cos i wanted to shop in phnom penh~~

Well, camera went crazy clicking away as we all wanted to get as many photos with the kids as possible.

After all tt, we went to take our final bath in HV and prepared for the Culture Night between TP n Hope Village!

Once again, before the event started, we tried to take as many pics as possible!

We performed our TP mass dance, then the chicky dance, n then the cartoon dance.

Followed by a special Dikir Barat performance by some of us.

There was even a special peformance by Hafiz on his guitar n our team-mates with a song they made during their stay in HV. It seriously made me tear up when they were singing... ='(

After the cultural performances ended, everybody just started going crazy dancing to random songs that we don't even know the tune to...

SO FUN! even though the mosquitoes were killing us~

Final night in Hope Village ended on a well, nt so good note.

Cos alot of ppl started getting sick, like symptoms of nausea n diarrhoea.

Well, tt was it... our last nite in Hope Village~

8th April

Morning, i myself wasnt feeling too well, my throat got realli sore over the days, n i slept in a little while MX, Shi hui n most of the girls were up since 4am as Xueqi n Serene were realli nt feeling well, n had to keep running to the toilet.

Time came for us to say our goodbyes...

We told ourselves not to cry in front of the kids, n i didnt!

Even though Shi hui started, n then MX... n then e others...

I tot i wasnt gg to cry, but as we boarded the bus n looking out the window, i saw this...

I just couldn't hold it in any longer... n i cried... silently...

Right after we left HV, the mood in e bus was....... quiet.......

It was only after abt 1 hr of the bus ride, tt we started taking pics again.

Before we checked into our hotel in Phnom Penh,

Asia Hotel,

we stopped by Russian market n i bought a painting as a souvenir for my grandma.

After checking in, we got a ride to the same Malaysian Restaurant for lunch.

One more time! CHEESE~~~

There we met up with e rest...

Ok... actualli i dun realli eat or drink coconut juice, but i dunno y... the ice-cream was SUPER nice!!! n the biscuit too!!! I bought some of e biscuit back hm cos they were just too good!!! my mum LOVES them too!

Ok, notice the old lady begging in e pic below.

Well, from wad i noticed, even though Phnom Penh is e urbanized side of cambodia, i cant help but feel tt the children n ppl in phnom penh are living a life worse than that of an orphan in a village.

We saw kids at young ages begging for money, n when they approached us, even though we realli wanted to lend a helping hand, we couldn't.

That is sad to see~~

After putting down our stuff, and washing up, everybody gathered to go for dinner at a seafood restaurant along the sea/river?

Oooo... TUK TUK!!! I loved riding it!!!

After dinner, went to walk near the river... **Snaps!!!

Some of us then decided to continue walking along the river, towards the palace.

Reached the palace, took in the view, took some pics!

N we rode Tuk-tuks back to e hotel.

Had e last de-brief for the trip, and that meant that it would be e last nite for some of us who would be returning to spore on the 9th, n e 2nd last nite for those returning on the 10th.

The trip is ENDING!!~~~ ='(

9th April

Morning got up pretty early, had a drink of Cambodian version of Iced tea, n then we all set off for the central market to do our last bit of shopping. I bought a pair of sunglasses, n a wallet. I tink tt's all i bought. Oh n a few more T-shirts.

We took a tuk-tuk down to e palace again to get a day-view.

After tt, we walked to e palace n were planning to enter to see e interior of the palace, but as e admission fee was abit pricey, n we were running out of time, we decided nt to go in.

Took a bath n waited for them to return...

When they gt back, e few remaining ppl with Andy Kwek, went to e restaurant for dinner... i just had a cup of iced coffee, cos well... i couldnt eat the food there... haha!
After Dinner, Shi hui mx n i, plus Rebecca, Cui Wen, Guo Bin n Peng went down to e river side just to walk along the streets lined with pubs n bars.

After walking quite a distance, we finally settled down at a place n had some smoothies, while chatting till about 11plus...
Haha the 7 of us then squeezed into one tuk-tuk back to the hotel.
Back at the hotel, i crashed Shi hui n Mx's room n we had many cup noodles n porridge, courtesy of Siti, who left it behind.

I was planning to sleep with Shi hui n Mx tt nite, since i would be alone tt nite in my own room, but after eating e cup noodles, i was feeling super warm in their room... n since my room felt colder, n they didnt want to move to my room, i ended up sleeping alone... haha 1st time sia... But i was like super tired already so i guess i couldn't be bothered to think of anything else...
Hai... e last nite in Cambodia...

10th April

Gathered in e lobby of e hotel at 7am n checked out of the hotel.

I could sense tt everyones mood was a little down.

Not sure if it was due to tiredness or that we were sad tt the trip was ending.

Oh wells, took in some final sights of Cambodia on our way to the airport.

We took a group pic before checking in but i dun have e pic with me...

But there's us with 2 of e older kids from e orphanage who followed us to Phnom Penh. N oso Mama Lisa. =D

Haha not to welcome me back hm, but cos they were using my hse as a wedding photo shoot venue. Yeah my cousin is getting married in July.

Well, firstly... KL trip!

Yea went there during the weekend tt time...

Well, at least its over for now.

I have an external paper for 1 of my subjects

that i took in my Semester 2.1.

So i've totally lost touch for that subject,

but i still gotta take the test. *sigh*

That will be on the 9th & 10th of March.

N i have my driving test on 9th too!

(Please let me pass this time!)

14th i'll be going KL for 2 days n 1 nite.

Somewhere in april, i'll be going to Cambodia.

Overseas Community project for abt 10 days.

Yeah~ so this is the current line up i have

for my break so far.

Ok moving on~ Today, after my last paper which

ended at bout 11.30am, i went hm, gt changed n

went out to meet Neeza.

I had to go to ICA to collect my renewed passport.

The reason for renewal?

Well, cos the past 2 trips where i went to KL & Batam,

the immigrations there mentioned to me to

change my photo. Why?

Cos apparently it doesnt look like me anymore =/

The funny thing is, Spore immigrations and the

other countries i went to ard tt same time like

London & New Zealand, had no problem with my photo!

Hmmm~~~ *wondering*

Well, wadever it is, i had to resubmit a photo today,

cos the one i gave them on Mon was rejected, cos

my hair was covering my eyebrows!

(I REALLY hate this requirement!)

Then cause i took the picture there in a haste,

i didnt clip my hair up nicely, and hence, the

DISASTROUS end result!

So after the trip to ICA, which we spent like

2 or more hrs to get my passport,

we headed to KFC at bugis for dinner.

And then we went home!

I was soo tired! Every night during exams only

4 hours of sleep!

but i got a new phone about 2 weeks ago.

FINALLY i got my Samsung Omnia!

Well, in the midst of exams here are some updates:

I have a driving test coming soon.

I will be going to Cambodia (around April)

for Overseas Community Project.

Yeah basically just some key objectives that needs to be done this coming break.

OH! I wanna watch this movie, called "Subaru". No its got nothing to do with the Car Brand or cars in that matter.

Basically the story revolves around this teenage girl who strives to become a world-famous ballerina.

Its a Japanese production and will only air in Japan in March.

So i dunno how long i have to wait to get to watch it though~ haha!

I find the show resembles the American production "Step up", just that it involves Ballet instead.

Alrights i made it through this week, somehow!

hmm i went to see a doc again on mon, this time it was my family doc.

N u noe wad??? i'm still not cured!!! wth???

hmm i foresee a 3rd visit to the doc.

Well, actually solution is REST! which im not getting any of.
The rest i need is one without any worries of wad projects

or exams i will be facing soon...

or wad lessons i will be missing if i do take MC from school.

Oh wells, moving on~~ todae had my music common test in sch

but i totally screwed up!

My test started at 9am. N i got up at 8.40am!!
Thanks to shi hui for calling me at tt time,

if not i tink i would have just slept through!

N today i set the fastest record for bathing, 6MINS!!

i was out of the hse at 9am n rushed down in cab.

Fortunately made it in time for the listening part of the test.

N i realli screwed the rest of the quiz cos i didnt get to study in e morn.

Torturous Week AHEAD~!

IM SICK! Literally sick! I came down with a flu on wed and it only got worse. Even had to skip school on thurs. "Kena" lousy consultation by doc at polyclinic! Ended up suffering on friday cos had to survive school while i was feeling so damn awful! *sigh* WHAT A TIME TO GET SICK?!?!

I have like 3 projects all to be submitted by the end of this coming week with 2 quizzes to add on, and its gonna be even harder to accomplish with me feeling sick! ARGH!!! I really hate this.

Saturday was the day i lost my voice~~ ah ~! Ah~! AH~~~#$%#^$%&%^*(*&^#%@!!! Yea, that was how my voice sounded like if i tried to hold a note~~ My bro was luffing at me la~

On top of that, i had to endure it at my aunts hse, cos still had to go visiting. *sigh* i really should have just stayed home, better than going there and being seen as a disease by "some" people! F***!

Well, the weekend is over once again, and UNFORTUNATELY... i didnt get MUCH better. So yea~~ as my blog title suggests, a Torturous Week Ahead!

People please understand if you probably dun hear from me at all this week, cos i'll probably be working my AsS off! haha~ unless~~~~~~ i realli slack~ ... NO! i cant afford to~~~ *sigh* wish me luck peeps!

The first birthday for the year goes to.....*drumroll*....

SHI HUI!!!!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY SHI HUI!!!

We had a surprise planned for her in the morning before class. We were going to surprise her with a cake! Even with all the "hiccups", our surprise was successful! Yeah! =) She told us she really didn't expect it! After that we went on for our classes.

It was only at about 4 plus that we met up again, took a cab down to downtown east for dinner at SAKURA.

And there was another surprise awaiting her... Haha it was.....*drumroll again*.... TAIJIN!

cos Taijin was scheduled to go back to Canada just the day before, but she decided to continue her stay cos well, her school was still on stike.

Haha the night before Shi hui's bd, we were all trying our best to convince and make her believe that Taijin had already gone back, and yeah our 2nd surprise was successful ONCE again~~ woohoo!

Unfortunately, Taijin couldnt join us for dinner, cos she had ballet. aww~~

so it was just us six, Shi hui, Meixuan, Cherie, Esther, Neeza and myself...

And we had our sumptuous dinner, overeating!

1st up~

Ladies Countdown Party to 2009

Yeah~ it was just us ladies, a BBQ countdown party held at Shi hui's hse again~ hee!

Those present were Shi hui of cos, Neeza, Cherie, Meixuan, Taijin & myself.

Haha~

Really SMALL party... and it was actually kinda impromptu. Cos after the previous BBQ with our class peeps, we felt that it wasn't enuf so we wanted to have one for countdown, and a casual thought actually became reality! OH! our theme was Korean Style BBQ! haha~ well had lotsa fun!

Too much food, ended up wasting alot of them. AND we had sparklers!!! haha well, i'll let the pictures do the talking! Enjoy! =)

Many Many Updates~~

OK many Many Updates... lets start with Term tests before the school holidays started.

Well... Had 4 papers. Think i did pretty well for 1st 3 papers, but i noe i screwed up the last paper... Well not really my fault la.. stupid teacher! give us all the wrong tips, all my class peeps were like so pissed with the teacher... *sigh* oh wells, gotta wait for sch to reopen to get back results. So will c how then. =/

Well, so 2 weeks of break came & had some outings here n there... lazy write everything down, plus cant realli rem oso... so i'll put the pics taken n then describe k.

On 18th December (Thursday), Shima, Anisah n i went to Downtown East "Sakura" to have buffet lunch. It was a celebration for Anisah's bd which was on 6th Dec but cos shima n i too preoccupied with tests and all tt.. so couldnt celebrate it tt time. Then after a very FULL lunch, we took a bus down to Parkway to play pool. And after tt went shopping ard parkway parade and Anisah gt hungry again so we went to the Fish & Co. OMG... she can really eat ah... haha... shima n i just "koped" abit here n there... n i had one of their drinks... SuPER huge cup sia... n its nice too... but SuPeR cold!!! Yea after tt ended our time together...

On the 21st December, My Secondary mates n i had a BBQ + Surprise celebration for Esther's Birthday. Shi hui, mx n i went to Bugis to get Esther's present then went down to parkway Giant to get the stuff we needed. OMG! working on a budget was really tough AND irritating.. After getting most of the stuff, i really couldnt take the stress anymore n just said "heck care bout the budget already la..." haha... n we just took the rest of the stuff.. n wen paying up, OMG! we were actually IN budget... haha! Good potential for housewife... hee... NOT! Bought Esther's cake as well. Then we took a cab down to Shi hui's hse! Thanks Shi hui, for letting us use ur house facilities! =) Everyone left at bout 11pm. Esther & Anterine stayed until abt 2am then left, while the remaining, Shi hui, mx, Taijin n i continued to stay n chat till bout 6am then we took a cab home! OMG! We actually gt F***ed by this Ang moh resident la! She complained bout us making noise n waking up her entire household, when we were'nt even talking... it was another bloody hse tt was laughing so loudly la! stupid... fortunately the security guard understood tt the ang moh woman was a usual complainer n he even helped us afterwards to find a place where we can slack but not be heard... haha! kewl man!

On the 23rd December, Shi hui, Taijin n i went Kbox at Suntec... Yea pathetically only 3 of us... n Shi hui only went cos she see like only so few ppl... n she doesnt sing when she goes so its like a total waste of money... Hmm... realli gotta find more Kbox Kaki's haha! Yea so we sang till about 7pm then went Pasta mania to eat...(Shh... cos ive fallen in love with their apple crumble pizza =P) After dinner, went home.

Haha! Taijin n i... we were serenading each other... hee =)

Yea... i tink tt's enuf updates for now...

Merry Xmas everyone.. just gt back from my aunts hse... Spent a whole day there... for Christmas get-together and in the evening we had BBQ until I smelt like BBQ... haha... N gift Exchange! yea... im getting tired le... so tt's all then... Nitex! =)

Today i donated blood~! YAY! haha ive been waiting for the donation drive to come to TP again cos im always too lazy to go to the outside drives to donate. Last year my first time donating, was also in TP. Yeah! Well it was nothing la... but dunno y, saw so many ppl ard me donating, all about to faint, feeling dizzy... haha but i didnt feel anything... LUCKY ah... haha it feels nice to donate blood! N i gt a cute yellow bandage, although the nurse did bandage it too tightly, until my arms were like sore! haha!

OMG! Quizzes, Assignments, Term Tests!!! ALL COMING at full speed!!! im so totally nt prepared! Well, i guess its all my fault for not paying attention in class and leaving assignments to do at the last min~ *sigh* OH WELLS~ gotta chiong then! Yea~ i tink its gonna be crunch time from now... no more slacking i guess... argh! So many things gg on!

Today Tai Jin came back from Canada! wanna noe y? go read her blog! haha~

Yea well, met up with Cherie at parkway at bout 6pm to get the final stuff we needed for Sally's prezzie. Haha we did something different n unique for her... Dunno if she liked our idea anot, cos it may seem abit weird n maybe insulting... oh wells, wanna noe go find out from those who noe bout it. After buying the stuff, headed down to Simpang n met up with the rest. Most of the people from 5N1, Including MR TAN, came! wahaha! So fun!

Cherie handed out early christmas presents to everyone present. A card n cookies she MADE HERSELF IN THE MORNING!!! *Applause* BUT! cos her kitchen not halal, she gave me ferrero chocs instead of cookies... aww... sorry cherie! i would have loved to try the cookies u made. *pouts*

Yea so we ate n waited for mx n shi hui to arrive with the cake to carry out the surprise bd celebration for Sally! The people at SPIZE were SOOO good~ They gave us complimentary cut fruits n even helped us off the lights n fan when lighting up the candles for the cake! THANK YOU SPIZE~! Not only tt, they stll gave us styrofoam plates n forks for the cakes... omg i was like so grateful to them sia... GREAT HOSPITALITY!

Anyway it was a great gathering! I LOVE MY FRIENDS! =) *sobs*

CHERIE!!!! Thank you sooo much! when i gt hm i read the card she gave me n the things she wrote nearly brought tears to my eyes! CHEERS to our 7~8yrs of friendship! LOVE YA! =))

7th Oct. '08

Class ended at 11am, so went home first. And at about 3pm, met up with Neeza and went to parkway banquet for lunch. She ordered Fried rice, while i had Yong tau Foo.

While eating, my stomach was already feeling kinda weird, like piercing cramps. Started feeling kind of uncomfortable, then we went to mccafe to slack.

I began feeling nauseous and while Neeza was still talking, i really couldnt take it anymore and rushed to the mac toilet and everything just went vommitting out! OMG! such a horrible sight and feeling it was! After tt i realli couldnt take it anymore so i had to go hm.

Took a cab home and reached at bout 7pm. Went straight to bed hoping the pain would go away. I was alone at hm, cos my mum n bro went to my granny's house n my dad was working.

A shocking thing for me happened! Fell half asleep and was awoken at bout 8pm by someone shouting " Assalamualaikum" many times and loudly (FYI: tt is a muslim greeting for when u want to enter a person's hse) N bcos i was like in a blur state of mind n still nauseous, n alone at hm, i went down to see who it was, n it was this makcik trying to sell some kind of medicine. OK... i was like abit, WTH... i wasnt in the right state to be entertaining someone. N true enough, after i told her i wasnt interested, i rushed to the toilet to vomit AGAIN! n i tell u ah... its those kind very terrible kind of vomit, not the little bit kind... hai...

went back to lie down, woke up at dunno wad time oso again to vomit! Drinking water made it worse, cos more came out when i vomitted.

Finally my family came back at bout 10pm. N as soon as i got up, i felt nauseous again! BUT my mum n bro were both occupying the toilets! so i was like rushing my bro to come out of the toilet, but b4 he could come out, I vomitted right there infront of the toilet! OMG!!!! feeling sick, n had to clean up the mess! Hai...

then took a lot of different kinds of med my mum gave me. I had a fever too! 38.6 deg. Omg! I guess i was realli in bad shape cos i hardly ever ever get fevers!!! My mum said it was food poisoning, probably caused by the Yong tau foo i ate. It was such a long nite for me... trying to fall asleep n waking up countless times, thinking tt i had slept for a long time but actualli was a few mins, realli waiting for the nite to pass.

This morning woke up with a terrible headache, body aching! still feeling nauseous but suppressed the feeling... and eating anything just made me feel like puking...slept throughout the dae n then went my granny;s hse for dinner. Ate halfway n couldnt eat anymore... Now feeling better but still abit uncomfortable... hai... well at least the headache is disappearing... hmm ok la... tt's all... wad a torturous case of food poisoning it has been!

Met up with Shi hui n Esther at Marina Square Macdonalds in the evening.

While waiting for Meixuan to come, we ate and folded hearts with the straws tt we "stole" from MAC. haha!

Went on to meet MX at Esplanade rooftop where we would be carrying out our "Surprise" plan for Cherie.

OK the story behind it is that, Cherie was out with her BF n her classmates tt dae for her BD celebration, which meant that we her "7 yrs of frens" would not be able to celebrate with her... so she was like apologising the nite b4 to us... n i just ignored her msgs.. haha n i didnt even wish her Happy Birthday, on purpose of cos! Pretending to be angry so she wun suspect ma...

So finally after waiting n waiting... n waiting... (we gt the help of Chester, Cherie's BF) for them to actually reach the rooftop, we were like on standby with the lighting of the candles on the cake. We probably lighted the candles like 3 times cos of the false alarms! By the time Cherie arrived, the candles were already like WAYY short! haha...

Fortunately the Surprise was a SUCCESS! Cherie really didnt have any clue at all!!! haha! great! haha HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERIE! many more years of friendship to come k! She seemed like she was realli in shock n like touched? haha i tink so....

Well anyways, continued to take pics n pics n pics!

n since there was abit of cake left, we decided to play games to decide who will have to eat the cake, n just as one of cherie's frens was about to forfeit n eat it, OMG! there were cockroaches all over the CAKE!!!! OMG OMG!!! we all jumped up n ran away sia... Cos it was dark we couldnt even see. N we were ALL seated realli close somemore sia... Cant believe it! eeeewwww...

After that commotion, Cherie had to go home to cut cake with her family. It was already bout 10pm. Whereas Shi hui, Mx, Est n i headed to makansutra there to eat n have a drink. Well, mx was the only one who ate la.. n she so funny... she ordered Oyster Omelette without Oysters!!!! Her Reason : Cos she dun eat oysters but she like the floury egg. n the uncle gave her prawns instead! WAHA!

Ok so we ended the day n all of us shared cab home! Next day still had school~ SIAN... yep tt's all!

Batam 25th~26th Oct '08

Went Batam with Grandma, Aunt & Neeza over the weekend, 25th ~ 26th Oct '08.

Left home at about 6.45am, went to pick my grandma, aunt n Neeza from their houses and my dad sent us to harbourfront.

Our ferry left at 8plus and arrived in Batam after about an hour.

After checking into the hotel, we left to this place to have breakfast, OMG! we had like Rice for breakfast... haha! not used to it sia... but the food was nice!

After tt we went to this shopping mall right opposite our hotel called "Nagoya".

Well basically that's the only place we went to "shop" la.. but nothing much oso to shop. well so walk walk then went back hotel ard afternoon time to rest, all of us ended up napping! haha realli too tired...

At bout 5 plus, we went back to the Shopping centre to look ard and after that, took a cab down to the seafood place for dinner. Omg first time in a long time, eating crab outside, my hands were like covered in the sauce! haha it was a total mess!

After dinner, went back to the hotel room, gt cleaned up.

OMG, while i was washing my eye make-up off, suddenly there was a sharp pain from under my eyelid, like something gt in. I spent like 10mins trying to just wash n get it out. It was realli painful and i realli gt scared cos i kep rubbing my eyes to try n get it out... hmm but after i decided to just dress up n get out of the bathroom first, to c if my family can help me or something, the pain suddenly disappeared. WTH?! Freaky~~

OK so after tt, laid down n we all watched this Indo Horror show tt was playing on tv. So stupid sia the show... not scary at all... haha but it was also bcos of this show tt my grandma had a nightmare during the nite, we all awoke to hear my grandma shouting in her sleep. Saying something like "GO AWAY!" We all woke up with a shock, but cos we were all sleepy everyone, including my grandma, laughed it off n went back to slp! WAHAHA! In the morning, my grandma related her dream to us, she said she was being chased by a ghost and when she wanted to open a door, a hand as cold as ice grabbed her wrist! coincidently, my aunt sleeping beside her, realised tt my grandma like having nightmare, so wanted to shake her, but when my aunt grabbed her hand, my grandma's reflexes, just told her to shout! aha... yea... dunno if u can get it...

In the morning, had breakfast at the hotel itself, pathetic sia the spread of food, like food finish already, never replenish! After breakfast, we went out to the same place we had lunch the day before to buy some dishes to bring back home. Then went down to Nagoya again. Finally went back to hotel at bout 11am. My n grandma did foot reflexology, omg i kena a big sized lady sia... so it was like PAINFUL!

At bout 1pm, we checked out of the hotel, and went straight down to Batam mall, opp the ferry terminal. Walked ard abit n then settled down for lunch.

At bout 3pm walked over to the ferry terminal to check in. OMG we had to wait, n there were SOO many kiasu sporeans n batamians! so irritating. Finally gt into the ferry n departed at 4.20pm (batam time). Reached Spore at bout 6 plus 7pm. Some freaking disruptions at the customs! Lazy write down ah... wanna noe ask me ba.. My dad came to pick us up, had dinner at the hawker centre opp harbourfront. And then it was home sweet home!

On the 21st of October '08, at about 9pm, we received a call from my grandma saying that my Cousin, Abang Shamil, who is also Neeza's older bro, had gotten into a Motorcycle accident and had been rushed to Changi General hospital. We were all shocked as to what had happened, and i prayed that he would be alright.

At bout 9 plus, we still hadnt heard news bout where he was warded n all tt, cos he was still in the A&E. I called Neeza n she started crying, really made me feel like crying too. *sigh* After waiting for quite some time, finally gt hold of news of how he was doing and also where he was warded. Apparently the doc said tt he didnt seem to have any internal injuries, just external ones, n it was realli a relief. I couldnt make it down to the hospital tt nite cos next dae had sch at 8am. But my dad went down, n when he came back, he told me that Abang Shamil's mouth n nose seemed to be the worst. N he still seemed to be in shock cos he was like shivering and he couldnt remember anything that had happened.

22nd Oct '08

After school, went to TM awhile with Shi hui, then went down to CGH, reached bout 4pm. When i saw him, it really pained me. Cos i didnt imagine him to look sooooo....*sigh*...... i cant realli describe it. Like medically, he was alright, but when i saw him, he realli looked like he was in a realli bad shape... *sigh* I realli was on the brink of tears. Alot of people came tt dae, apart from our huge family, he had ALOT of frens who came to see him, even his colleagues. N the ward was so packed. Oh n he wasnt allowed to eat or drink anything, apart from drinking water to take his medicine. He was like telling us that he was thirsty and hungry and even asked if he could go smoke. We laughed it off, but it realli pained us to not be able to give him food. He had to survive on the IV drip. BUT fortunately, at bout 6 plus, i tink after the medical report came back, the doc said he could eat, n we bought him beancurd n soya bean drink... It was a good thing, cos being able to eat, meant tt he was alright! YAY! But wad i felt was wrong was that, the hospital gave him RICE! omg... his lip was stitched, how do they expect him to eat? OH well, anyways left at bout 9pm and headed home.

Heard from Neeza that her brother was able to be discharged from the hospital in the afternoon. Yay... means his realli ok... THANK GOD!!!!!

Well i realli wish him a speedy recovery, n see him go back to his usual self always teasing us... =)=)

My mum's side of the family came over to my house for Hari Raya visit.
It was a very busy day, waking up early to go buy ingredients for food n of cos helping with the cooking.
But the worst was when the guests started coming and it was alot of work being a host, u noe like refilling their drinks, refilling the kueh... bla bla... n i was dressed in my baju kurung somemore... wa... ATSUI~~(HOT!)
Yea so most of my famil members left my house at about 4 plus. Then my dear tomodachi's came over for Hari raya oso... they reached at bout 6 plus.
Had laughs chatting and my mum was so amused with Anterine and Sally oso... haha those who were there noe wad im talking bout rite... haha
After tt my mum let me go out with them. We planned to go to Parkway to play pool. But just as i was about to leave house, my uncle and his family came, felt so sorry tt i was gg out... yea ok... so played pool until 10plus then went hm le... wad a tiring dae it was...

6th Oct '08 (Mon.)

Went out with Neeza to go have a nice lunch and go jalan2 shop shop...
We went to Plaza Sing. and had Swensens for lunch... omg... so nice and so filling...
After eating went over to OG Orchard. I wanted to look for a pair of sneakers. Nurmalah and Zakiah joined us there. WOW, its been a long time since i actually hung out with them. Well, i bought an EVERLAST sneakers n Neeza bought a cute Dickies bag. After tt we all went to Starbucks to slack n chat. OMG i was so shocked to find out that some of my primary sch mates were already married n even have like 2 kids... OMG!
After tt went hm at bout 9plus...

13th Oct '08 (Mon.)

The girls and i met up at Simpang Bedok for dinner. Kelly (a guy... hehe) joined us too... It's been quite some time since we all ate at Simpang together... Had a great dinner!
After dinner, we decided to head to this other restaurant/cafe called "Badoque". It has a really nice ambience and feel to it, perfect for slacking! haha. Ordered some drinks and cakes and started chatting. i ordered this drink called "Pinky and the brain" haha like the cartoon... it didnt taste nice... tasted abit like medicine. Well took some pics n then took a cab hm at bout 10plus 11...

19th Oct '08 (Sun.)

Had a Hari Raya gathering at my aunt's house. OOooo.... had a huge spread of delicious food... woo... (wait i realised tt im always blogging bout food, OH NO!) then after my dad n uncle finished watching F1 (YEA! Hamilton 1st!) We all sat together to watch this Indonesian ghost story "Pochong". It wasnt realli scary but bcos of Neeza and her sis, Rozana screaming whenever the ghost came out, it gave everyone a shock as well and made the show ncier to watch... haha
After the show ended, we went back to boredom-ness but fortunately my aunt played another ghost story, this time it was a thai one "The victim", the storyline was complicated so it made the show nicer to watch, but the ghostly figures werent realli scary either.
After the ghost movie marathon, we had dinner and then headed home.

5th Day of JSXP! last dae~

5th Day of JSXP! Last day~ *sobs* (2nd Oct)

OK... its e last dae of JSXP! N the event for tt dae was the wild goose chase.

Reported in school at 8am and the Japanese students came soon after.

We were briefed on the rules for the wild goose chase n how we were to go about playing. Basically, wad happens is that, a piece of paper with the clues will be given to the Japanese students. N the clues are all in Japanese! so wad the japs have to do is, translate the clues into english n we have to roughly figure out where we are supposed to go.

Well basically, for my group, instead of just relying on the translations from the japs, Zhi qin actualli figured out parts of the clue by reading the chinese characters on the paper. (note that in the japanese lang. there are some chinese characters, most of the time, the meanings are similar to chinese but they pronounce the word differently) haha so basically we were pretty confident bout where we were supposed to go.

Our first stop was Chinatown's Heritage Centre, n we had to take a pic with this samsui woman model.

After which we were given a picture clue which led us to Bugis.

Then we headed down to Beach road hawker centre to eat! I ordered mee goreng cos well, tt was the only halal stall i could find open... (expected la... 2nd dae of Hari raya lei... all the hawkers still on break lor) I let them try the indian mee goreng n they were like karai~~(spicy) haha yea it was spicy for me too... but yusuke seemed to like it... haha

After eating, our next stop was supposed to be Suntec but bcos Ryozo wanted to buy those souvenir merlion-shaped chocolates, which Zhi qin told him tt bugis street was like selling 3 for $10, we went back to bugis street to buy them. N from bugis, we decided to walk to suntec (save bus fare) haha...

At suntec, we were supposed to complete the task at the Fountain of Wealth. We made a wish n walked ard the water area...

After tt, we had to go to esplanade n figure out from the clue where we had to go in esplanade where we would be able to see the Singapore flyer. So duh~~ of cos the rooftop. We got there, took some pics, and headed for our final destination which was the Merlion. We were the the 1st or 2nd team to arrive i tink... oh wells, reached there n it was pictures time!! kept snapping away... n since jsxp ppl all wearing the yellow Ts, it looked like an infestation of bumblebees at the merlion bridge... haha!!

At bout 5 plus, we left the place n headed back to School. When we got back there, it was dinner time n we had buffet style food.

After dinner, we sang the 3月9日 song all together n we all like linked our arms together, shoulder to shoulder n sang as one... OMG! realli about to cry lor... seeing the ppl ard me cry... was like so contagious... n esp when some of the japs cried... *sobs sobs* After all the emo stuff, a video was played showing all the times we spent these past weeks, hai... so sad lor...

After e vids, it was like gifts presentation n exchange n my buddy gave me a good luck charm!! well, sorry to Melvyn cos since Ippei was both our buddies, i took the present haha... i guess he didnt expect tt he would be getting 2 buddies in Spore

After tt, it was goodbye for the nite, realli getting emotional at tt time lor...

After the japs left, we had a debrief, man it was abit dramatic sia... like so tense the atmosphere... n it dragged on till 10pm.

Ok we were already planning to stay out at the airport to "thong" until the next morning cos their flight was at 8.30am.

So after tt, we were all like freaking out abt not having any girfts to give the japs, so since all the malls were already closed, we decided to go to Mustafa 24 hrs centre to get stuff. OMG! so many ppl... hmm u noe wad i mean... n at bout 1plus am, Shi hui, meixuan n i, took a cab down to shi hui's hse to bath, so paiseh cos her family all asleep already.. n i made quite a bit of noise in the toilet... SORRY!

Left her hse at bout 2 plus am n took a cab down to the airport. Started wrapping up the gift for Ippei, i bought a "Singpapore" T for him. the print stated "Survivor singpapore" haha hope he liked it. N i bought wrist accessory for Takuya n Tetsurou... Initially wanted to get friendship bands for every one of the japs, but mustafa dun have so couldnt get for all of them... $$$ haha... n shi hui, meixuan n i shared gifts for Takuya, Yusuke, Ryozo, Shota, Seya. it was a towel tt we were gg to cross-stitch their names on it n give to them... Shi hui n mx failed in making Shota n Seya's name n i did an OK job on yusuke's so i went on to do for takuya oso... so in the end could only give yusuke n takuya. Imagine i havent slept n i was like looking so closely while stitching, my eyes already giving up le lor... I also wrote letters to Ippei, Takuya n Tetsurou (I FORGOT TO TAKE PICS OF THE PRESENTS! BAKA RITE... *sigh*) The Japanese arrived at the airport at bout 6.45am n we went down to meet them. Gave them the gifts, some started crying... When i asked my buddy if he cried, he said the nite b4, when they were gg hm in the bus, he cried alot... AWW... so nice...

Everything was gg too fast, without even giving us enough time to sae goodbye, they checked in their luggage n almost immediately they went in to the immigrations area le... I noticed Seya suddenly burst out in tears when they were walking in... I realli couldnt cry... probably cos i was realli too tird le... after they went in, it was just like a chaotic mess of ppl crying n all tt...

i was already giving up on all emotions le... haha realli too tired until cant tink much... haha anyway the rest went on for breakfast whereas i gave up n went hm first. Took bus 36 n supposed to stop at parkway to change bus, but i fell asleep n overshot until suntec sia... so i took a cab from there, gt hm n totally knocked out sia... until 4pm then woke up.

Went over to my grandma's hse in the afternoon.
Helped around with the cooking, fried some chicken.
Then we broke fast and just slacked around, watching old videos and laughing and chatting with relatives. So fun~
N from Neeza's blog, u can see that she mentioned tt something bad happened, yea realli scared the shit outta me man... realli traumatised me sia... ive already told some ppl so yea u ppl will noe wad im talking bout. Hope my uncle will be more careful in the future, we also have to be more cautious. oh wells, u wanna noe ask me personally ba...
then at about 11pm left my grandma's hse to go hm.
i stayed up till 4am tt nite, dunno doing wad oso sia... my dad was out until ard tt time too... he went with my grandma n some of my aunts n uncle to geylang bazaar to get some last min deals on stuff there.
The bad thing is tt the next dae still gotta wake up quite early cos its HARI RAYA n have to do some last min cleaning. Ok tt's all for tt dae!

Hari Raya 1st Oct 08

Woke up at 11am to find my family members all awake n already busy cleaning the house downstairs. yea... wad a bad daughter i am... hee
So i joined in the cleaning, had a good sweat, then went to bath at 1pm n got ready. the getting ready part takes a long time for me... haha
Left for my grandma's house at 3pm and when we got there, most of my dad's siblings already came n left. FYI : my family is always late, cos well we only have one side of the family to go too, instead of the normal, mum n dad's side.
But of cos, at every hari raya, most of my dad's siblings will always come back to my grandma's hse after they visit their other family, cos well they all stay near my grandma, (ok talking too much again) Basically, got to eat my granny's delicious hari raya food! OMG! Ketupat n Sayur Lodeh! Rendang, Chicken! YUMMY! haha...
OK at the end of the dae, decided to go to my dad's eldest brother's hse to visit first, without everyone else, cos the next dae i would be busy with JSXP. yea so reached hm at about 11plus. Wa... realli tiring dae sia... n the next dae was gg to be another tiring one.

SO SORRY... ive been realli tired and packed with activities these past few daes, with the Japanese leaving n all tt... n rite now... im still tired n will update tmr if i can cos tmr oso another day packed with activities. My mum's side coming over to my hse in the afternoon for Hari Raya, n the gals coming over my hse in the evening. Plus, might be gg visiting to relatives hse even after tt... so realli realli busy.... Sorry ppl who are waiting for my pics, gotta wait longer cos i still needs compress them n haven done it yet. 2nd day of JSXP events~

Ok i tink i will update bout the 2nd dae of JSXP events first, cos i scared forget ah... haha.

We reported at 8.30am in sch. The japs came soon after. First programme was the CU Visits aka Lab visits in our sch. Hmm some teachers were talking n talking... dun realli understand cos my course dun involve those stuff.. Realli boring sia.. i tink the japs oso bored sia... haha

Anyways after the 2 lab visits, went back to LT n then set of to e sports complex for sports activities. OMG! The scorching heat! Most of the japanese guys played soccer, whereas ppl like me, went to play badminton. At least its indoors. haha wa.... long time never play, it felt so refreshing but cos i was like wearing jeans to play, it was like super HOT!

at bout 1pm, we ended our sports n went back to LT to grab our stuff n went to TM for lunch. We had to be back in sch by 3.30pm. I tink it was e first time i was having lunch with them, i mean where i actualli ate la... Went to the foodcourt in CS n i helped to show Ippei ard the foodcourt n ordered for him la... he ended up eating Jap food, pepper lunch. haha n i ended up buying mee rebus n prata to let them try. They felt tt the mee rebus was ABIT spicy but tasted nice. They realli LIKE prata sia... haha. After waiting for everyone to gather, we headed back to sch, n it started pouring! wad mad weather in spore! Continued event with Culture Exchange. First the japs presented bout Japan, n then e spore main comm ppl presented bout spore. Haha they gt to try tang yuan, the hari raya kuehs, male baju kurung, prata n moon cake. haha kinda fun! pics of them wearing baju kurung will come out after i get the pics from mx. I tink the culture exchange thing dragged on abit too long, so mass dance was cancelled.

We left sch at 6 plus. Those japs from the 2nd batch had to be back at the hostel by 8,30pm whereas the 1st batch ppl only had to be back by 10pm. Shi hui n mx's buddies were both from the 2nd batch, so they went off in another batch, i was left alone!!! haha no la... actualli i had a choice to follow them since my buddy is shared with another person, Melvyn. But dunno hw cm, when i was still deciding, the 2nd batch ppl go off le... so i was like... ok just go with my buddy ba..

so we ended up gg to this hawker centre at bedok blk 85 i tink... Everyone except for me n my buddy contributed 10 dollars each n the money was used to buy all the diff types of food to be shared. My buddy was not hungry n he only wanted to eat bread, so i brought him to a nearby cake shop to buy something, i bought something too, cos i realised tt there was no malay stalls there at all, so i ate bread for dinner... ya! haha

Ard 8plus, started making our way back to bedok interchange where they can take a train or bus back to their hostel. I was too bored n tired le, so just went hm from there n didnt send them back.

SELAMAT HARI RAYA TO ALL MY MUSLIM PALS!~

Once again, it has been a realli tiring dae, n tmr i still gotta wake up early to be in sch by 8am for the last day of JSXP event.

I have been realli preoccupied these past few days that i havent been updating since mon. Was supposed to update bout the 2nd dae of JSXP n all tt oso... hmm now i still doin something else, so if im still nt tt tired, i'll update now, if nt, then after tmr on fri.

cos after the Wild goose chase event tmr during JSXP, we'll be gg back to sch to bath n after tt go straight to the airport to "thong" the nite, cos the japanese student's flight on fri morning is at 7am... so its super earli...

1st day of JSXP event~

Todae was e 1st day of the JSXP event.

We met at 12.30pm at the function room in school.

Then found out who our buddies were, MY BUDDY IS IPPEI! Melvyn n i share a buddy cos on the 30th n 1st, i wun be able to attend activities as i have Hari Raya stuff to attend to. SAD though... i have 2 lesser daes to spend with them. Oh wells, i tink out of all of us, Shi hui should be the happiest cos she gt to buddy up with 2 of the most good looking ones in the whole bunch of Japanese students. haha envy~~

Then, we went to fetch them from the bus stop n went on with our activites. We all sat down in our "buddy" formation n each of us gt our "tags".

N then started with some introductions of the 2 schs, then went on to play some ice-breaking games, 1st musical chairs, then the "name game" haha~ After tt, went on to a tutorial on dragon-boating n dumplings. N finally at bout 4pm, went to bedok reservoir for the dragon-boating session. I didnt join in, so did Mx n a few others who were ousted cos there werent enuf spaces. Took some pics while waiting.

Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, everyone had to get out of the lake. N basically everyone just slacked ard n formed diff grps n started playing games among themselves. Kinda boring at tt point, except for the part when there was some "scissors, paper, stone" games n the loser had to strip a piece of their clothing each time they lost. Haha most of the japs had great bodies. Yuskei, Kohei, Seiya & Ryozo stripped off, ONLY their shirts of cos... haha if there were any more off i tink erm... situation would get bad~ haha.

Finally at bout 6 we started walking back to the function rm, n went to bath n change. Started playing games among ourselves again. this time we started with the "ive gt "something" by the river" game... haha the one with the continuous hand movements la.. then went on to handyplus, n it gt boring so switched to WACKO! haha after tt had "buffet" dinner. Well, i noe my buddy liked the food, so it was ok la... haha

After dinner, slacking ard again, n had a chance to talk more with tetsurou, Shi hui's buddy for todae n kohei. Started pushing Kohei n Wing together n surprisingly he was like so daring todae... haha so funny... Finally took a group photo to end the dae, n the japs went hm in a small chartered bus. Then after a briefing for tmr's activities, we went hm.

I went back to my grandma's hse, cos my parents were still there. They were making "ketupat" for hari raya... hohoho... 2 more daes to HARI RAYA!

Another tiring dae... well tmr gotta e in sch at 8,30am... ANOTHER TIRING DAE!!! so i gg to sleep already... NITE! Oyasumi!

New colour! 2nd Batch of Jap students~

Today got up pretty early cos had hair appointment at AMK at 11am. My mum n i both colouring our hair, my bro went to cut hair.

Anyway i went there nt sure of wad to colour nor cut, so basically when i went into the shop, i immediately asked "I just rebonded my hair, can colour?" Fortunately, the aunty said that i can colour, as long as not bleaching. So i went to look through some of the magazines for colours & styles. Finally found one tt was like "OK.... i can try this" type of colour n asked the aunty if that kind of colour was bleaching or colouring, n fortunately, tt colour can be both in the form of bleaching n colouring... haha OK WAIT! I TALKING TOO MUCH~ to cut it shorter, i just went with an idea that i had which was to make my base colour bright, n have dark highlights instead of the normal vice versa style. Ok so after colouring, i had another problem which was wad style to cut, i tell u im realli sick of my normal hair style, but since i wanna keep my long hair, i have not much choice so i just left it to the aunty to style for me.

I can sae im rather pleased with the cut, just that i tink its still kinda weird style n all... hmm i dun tink u can c from the pic though...

After colouring, waited for Shi hui's call to confirm where they were heading next after their karaoke session with the JAPS!!!! (OMG! i missed it~ cos i went to colour my hair~) Then finally went down to Airport T1 to receive the next batch of Japanese students which landed at 8pm. After some mingling, finally went to the coach bay to send them off. Then dunno how come we ended up following the japs on the coach to their hostel. IMAGINE THIS: From all e way east (Airport) to all the way west (Bukit Batok Hostel) haha... realli ah... but of cos the trip there wasnt wasted cos gt to noe the new jap guys too. Then we said our goodbyes, n since some of us were hungry, we stopped at "Mad Jack Cafe" to eat. wa... their fish & chips realli marvelous~ haha! While eating, we discussed who we were gg to get as our buddy for the next few daes of sch activities with the japs. haha i hope i dun get those realli quiet ones.

After eating, we split, n on the way hm, saw a lot of ppl at kallang mrt station. Probably after the F1 thing. Haha i like to watch it sometimes, but if u ask me to watch the whole race, i dun tink i can tahan... haha! Reached hm at 12. Wa... wad a long dae sia...

BTW, DBSK's new album is out! haha yay~ i downloaded their songs already, NICE!~ but i haven had time to go out n buy their CD. hai... looks like i gotta wait, since the next few daes will be packed with JSXP activities. Anyway wanted to upload DBSK's MV here, but dunno y it cant be done... so sad sia... ok la i tink i write enuf already... tired already... NITE! oyasuminasai!

I truly have to say that the boys have realli grown up n they realli look super sexy n hot now, compared to their previous boyish outlook. Their music is realli different too, like it has a more sophisticated feel to it. I hear that 2 of them actualli wrote some of the songs in their Album. N they are non other than my Darling, Xiah n Changmin! SUPER talented boys i tell u... muahaha!

And to those people who think otherwise about them, please try to keep ur negative comments to yourself kae, If u like them, then u like them, there's no reason to it. If u dont then too bad lor.. (im just saying this cos i noe there are ppl who dun like them, but dun have to make nasty comments)

Ok todae basically just went out to meet the japs for awhile, cos their curfew was like 8pm. Anyway went down to Bugis, didnt join them straightaway cos didnt realli noe where they were, n waited for shi hui to come down too. Yea, went to buy a drink n some Old chang kee while waiting, but so paiseh to eat la... (FYI, come red light so couldnt fast), even though i noe i dun exactly look malay, but somehow still will feel like ppl are looking u noe.. haha!

Oh wells, after meeting up with the japs, just to send them off at the bus stop, the rest of us Singaporeans went on to jalan2 at bugis street then went bugis to eat at Food junction, walk ard somemore at bugis street n left at bout 9 plus 10... So earli rite, but i still felt kinda tired already, walk alot oso lei... haha. OH ya... heard that the japs curfew for tmr is 10pm!!! Surprisingly... i tink their teacher good mood cos c tt these 2 days the japs have been very punctual, very earli to be exact. haha oh well, dunno whether i joining them anot... C hw la...

Because, right now im on a mission to convince n persuade my mum to get me a new fone. MY SAMSUNG IS SPOILT! there's no sound coming from the top part, so i cant hear my fone ring, hear the other party talking n basically any sound coming out from there. hai... so sad sia.. n im stuck using my nokia fone! I noe nt very nice to keep asking my parents to fork out money for my stuff la... Believe me, if i realli had a job now, or at least have more savings, i would definitely pay for all the stuff tt i want myself lor... My younger bro has been like getting alot of new stuff, but its cos he's using all of his own money la... Rich ass! haha no la... he realli saves alot, not like me! TOTAL OPPOSITES! haha... trying to get a loan from him oso... but highly impossible haha!

Bottomline: I NEED MONEY! haha~~

Today, met up with neeza at 1pm & headed down to Grandlink square (Opp. City Plaza) to check out the shop's pricing for rebonding. Well Basically Neeza was the one who initially wanted to do her hair la, i was just there to accompany her.

So anyway, checked out their pricing n felt tt maybe could get a better deal at Far east, so took a bus down there. Walked around & started checking out some of the shop's prices, some were like $150!!! WAY off budget! we were to look for one preferably around $90. Finally found this shop, Student offer till e end of Sept. $85!! haha so of cos we went there.

I have been contemplating these past few weeks as to whether i should rebond my hair, Cos as most of u know, when Hari Raya is ard the corner, i will defenitely colour my hair, n usually it'll be those funky bleaching colours, so...

rebonding + bleach = !!!!!!!!!! damaged hair !!!!!!!!!

My mum told me to make a choice between the 2, n of cos if i realli had to pick, i would choose colour, DUH~

But the price of the rebonding was just too tempting, so i went for it haha! of cos with the permission of my mum first la... i very "guai" one u noe...

N if u think tt i'll nt be colouring my hair, haha u tot wrong, i have a way of persuading my mum, n on the account tt my mum has already made an appointment at the salon where i'll be colouring my hair, well it is already set. haha! yea so i'll be colouring my hair this sat, still thinking wad colour i should try. but have to consult the hairstylist oso... so tt my hair doesnt frizzle n realli become like maggie mee!

After finished with our hair, at bout 5pm, Neeza went hm, i went down to toa payoh to join my mum n bro for dinner at Swensen's! yummy~ have been craving the MEGA burger.

DBSK's 4th album release has been delayed n pushed back from 24th to 26th. Apparently its cos the online n offline pre-order sales are overwhelming with 300,000 copies being ordered, they have no choice but to push it back. Happy for DBSK tt they are doin well with their record sales, even though the korean music industry has been kinda down lately. BUT still sad that gotta wait longer until i can get their album.. *sigh* OH wells, DBSK hwaiting!

DBSK's BACK! Mirotic!!!

OMG! Their highly anticipated 4th Korean album is finally coming out!!! I cant wait! I realli applaud DBSK's management company in their way of publicising this upcoming album. They first released a pic of the groups new album out on the internet, which made every fan go, OMG!!! Then slowly released their new songs, "Hey! Don't Bring Me Down" & then "Mirotic" also on the internet. Finally releasing a 30sec teaser MV for their song"Mirotic". They held their first showcase for the promotion of their 4th album in the form of a mini concert on the 21st of Sept. Their album will be released in stores on the 24th. I really hope Singapore stores will release them at the same time.!!! OMG so excited! The boy's new look really makes my jaws drop! n drool... haha!

Oh.. how much they have grown, not boys anymore but MEN! Drop dead gorgeous MEN! haha!

1st Outing with the Japanese Students~

Its our first outing!

TP students were supposed to meet at Dover Mrt Station at 9am, then go down to Bukit Timah area, to pick the Japs up from their hostel. (i still dun understand why they were arranged to stay at a hostel so far away from TP, EAST & WEST?!)

Naturally, Shi hui, mx & i were late, so the rest had left to pick the japs first, then we made our way by bus to the bus stop near their hostel. We felt so lost & unfamiliar with the WEST area~... haha! BTW, forgot to mention tt this first batch of jap students comprises of 11 ppl, 9 guys & 2 gals.

After meeting up with the rest at abt 10am, we made our way down by bus to orchard area. Tried to make some small talk with some of the jap guys who were seated closer to us during the bus ride. so far i only rem 3 of the guys names, Kohei, Yuskei & Seya (ppl always calling him SOYA by mistake! HAHA!) & the names of the 2 girls, Hana & Megumi (ppl keep calling her Maggie mee, also by mistake... shi hui ah.... haha).

Their names are hard to pronounce n rem sia... well i guess tt's wad they feel towards us too... haha!

First destination : Far East Plaza

Well, tt early in the morning, u cant expect the shops to be open rite, so we ended up slacking outside KFC area, some had drinks, some ate. I tink after tt we went to walk in Far East awhile but like nothing much, so we went over to DFS, so TAKAI! (ex!!!) Couldnt stand the expensiveness of things, so we left n went to wisma atria to eat at Food replubic at abt 1pm. OMG! by this time i was already feeling SUPER thirsty, all e more seeing the rest having their food n drinks. We split into 2 tables, so i only noe bout wad was happening at my side. Singaprean grp were like buying different types of food to let them try. The japs themselves, bought Chicken Rice, they tried, beef noodles, prata, Malay rojak, honeydew sago(dessert), Tropical fruits (pineapples, honeydew, watermelon, papaya), n Coconut. Haha i can imagine how they'll be getting an upset stomach due to the various foods being consumed. The other table bought alot of desserts, including Chendol with durian puree. haha they all feared tt & ended up playing games to c who will have to drink the awful thing. Our table copied tt, but with the rojak, cos apparently they didnt like it.

After lunch, walked back to Far East, but this time went on to walk on the other floors, n some of the guys ended up buying t shirts. 1 of them got himself a pair of sunglasses. KAKOI!!! (cool!!!)

Second Destination : Heeren

Wa... the walk from Far East to Heeren, under the scorching heat was like UHHH!!!

my mouth wasnt even producing enough saliva la... haha (ok tt didnt sound rite.. haha! well hope u noe wad i meant by saying tt, if u dun, its cos i was soo dehydrated!)

Due to the difficulties faced with a big group of ppl walking ard into shops, we decided to let everyone go free & easy n be back at the ground floor at 4.30pm. I bought myself an ADIDAS waterbottle (PINK sia~). Then walked around la... window shopping...

4.30pm : while waiting for some missing ppl to gather, we started taking group photos right there n then! YES! RIGHT THERE! in the middle of the ground floor of Heeren shopping centre, can u imagine the obstructions we were causing?!?! haha!

Finally, decided to take a bus down to Vivo, even though the japs had already gone there ytd on their own. But from wad i heard, they were the ones who wanted to go back there.

Third Destination : Vivo City

When we got there, we decided to split into 2 groups. Those who wanted to go sit & play games AND those who wanted to KAIMONO (shop!) Most of the Singaporeans ended up wanting to play games, while most of the japs wanted to go shopping. So once we split, only 3 japs, 2 guys n a girl (megumi) joined us Singaporeans in playing games, we brought them to the rooftop of Vivo, overlooking the port.

First game, was the "Takenoko" game, the forfeits were super funny, but unfortunately only one of the japs gt forfeited, aww... haha! but tt guy, SUPER funny la... When we gt tired of tt game, we decided to teach them a Singaporean/TP game called "Chucky Chucky". Played on till abt 6.30pm. Finally almost time to break fast!

Mx kindly accompanied me to buy drinks from 7-eleven while the rest went to decide where to eat. We heard tt they went to Burger King, but MX didnt wan to eat tt so e 2 of us ate at LJS instead.

We ended up having to rush over to meet the rest cos the japs had a curfew (WTH? Realli different country, different cultures). Their curfew was 9pm and if they were late, they would have to be punished the following day by lowering their curfew to 8pm. So of cos we didnt want them to be late cos of us so we realli like rushed. Took MRT until dover, then took bus down. BLOODY HELL! stupid SBS uncle sia! just cos we gt down at the wrong stop, he was like so fucking pissed la! still can shoot vulgarities at us sia... we all held in our anger cos the japs were there la... E reason is cos we were realli rushing to get them back on time, it was already 8.55pm when we reached the bus stop, n lucky enough, we already told everyone to run once we gt down. N boy, did they run! the Singaporean guys & jap guys realli ran very fast, while us girls, walked as usual haha... but their efforts paid off! THEY MADE IT IN TIME!

At the hostel, we started saying our good-byes for the night, but it was so draggy with everyone still mingling n chatting with each other, finally left at bout 9plus n walked to the bus stop. i went alone cos i was the only one taking a bus to the MRT station. I was too tired so gt a cab from kallang n after a good bath, i finally feel clean! OK another LOONNNG post! Sorry ppl, well no choice one la... longer gt more juicy details. I might have missed out some interesting things la... but im oso tired already haha... pics will come later... thanks for reading! NITEX!
